We have known for a while that Emma Watson’s education means a lot to her. According to Christopher Lamb, from www.telegraph.co.uk, Emma Watson will be continuing her education after she finishes filming Education Before Acting, which she starts working on early in Feb. 2009.

“I would like to go to university and complete a degree and so that will mean a break from acting,” Emma said.

Watson continues, “I’ve always tried to balance my education with my acting career, but I just don’t think it will be possible to juggle it with a degree course. I have a need now to study.”

It would be hard to do.. . Even if you take an online class.

“There are excellent universities over there and I’m applying at the moment,” she said. “If I stay in this country I will read English Literature, and if I go to America I would do a Liberal Arts programme.”

I am all for the Liberal Arts program, but that was what I was in.

This doesn’t mean that Emma will be giving up acting.

According to her spokesperson,”any future projects will take second place to University. Her first commitment will be to her course.”

Even though it could be a few years, I am looking forward to seeing Emma acting again.

“25 Under 25: Hollywood’s Hottest Young Stars.”

Congratulations Emma. According to http://harrypotterspage.com, Emma has made the AOL Moviefone’s second annul “25 Under 25: Hollywood’s Hottest Young Stars.”

Emma is on the list with Daniel Radcliffe, Michael Cera, Dakota Fanning, Shia LeBeouf, Keira Knightley, Ellen Page, Emma Stone, Zac Efron, Miley Cyrus and Scarlett Johansson.

Congrads to everyone I named, and the other celebrities that are on the list.

According to www.mtv.co.uk, Emma Watson will be replacing Keira Knightley as the “face of Chanel’s fragrance Coco Mademoiselle.”

A source at Chanel said, “Chanel have been dressing Emma for film premieres and parties in recent months to integrate her into the brand.”

Watson will sign the two-year contract, at the end of this summer, when Knightley’s contract is over.

According to www.msnbc.msn.com, Emma will be earning around six million

“This is such a perfect fit for Emma,” said a source close to Emma. “She’s not going to end up like these other Hollywood train wrecks, she just isn’t. This is going to be money in the bank so she can just live a life doing whatever she wants down the road, and it’s something she can be proud of. No one is going to be saying, ‘I never wanted to see Hermione in that light.’”

I have to agree, I do not want to see Emma being one of those “train wrecks” we hear about almost daily. I am sure that she will not. She seems to have a good head on her shoulders.

Woo Hoo! Congratulations Emma! According to her website, Watson has won the ‘best film actress’ Otto Award. The Awards were hosted by a popular Germany Magazine, ‘Bravo.’

Also winning awards were Keira Knightley, from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, who won Silver, and Nora Tschirner who won the bronze.

Another congratulation goes out to Daniel Radcliff, who won the gold in the male category.
