Rupert Grint Has to Kiss a Masked Girl

According to www.digitalspy.com, Rupert Grint has had to kiss a girl in a mask because Emma was not there.

Bang Showbiz quotes him as saying: “There have been a couple of scenes where Emma has missed filming. But when you have to kiss a girl in a mask, it’s totally weird.”

Emma recently said that she pounced on Rupert when filming their kissing scene. “It was awkward for both of us because we are like siblings. I pounced on him, I was so desperate to get it over with.”

Some interview questions from a www.ok.co.uk interview with Emma Watson:

You and co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint were all over 18 filming this movie. How was it different from the other movies?

Emma: Well, we had longer working hours. But none of us have started drinking coffee or smoking. Definitely no alcohol!

The film focuses on a lot of awoken hormones. Did you draw on your own experiences?

Emma: It’s fun because we’re all maybe a year or two older than our characters are, so I feel as though I’ve experienced everything first. Sometimes I have to bring myself back to Hermione because she’s so innocent and very vulnerable in this film.

Daniel Radcliffe has said that the atmosphere on set was ‘horny’…

Horny?

Emma : I don’t know what to say! When we were younger, we were always going back and forward from school filming so it wasn’t like Dan and Rupert were the only boys in my life.

I know it would be of huge media interest if there was a pairing between us, but the three of us have grown up together and are just like siblings.

If there were a new batch of Harry Potter films in 20 years, would you want to take part?

Emma: Never say never, but I would hope I would’ve moved on by the time they do a remake.

So what lies ahead for you?

Emma: At the end of August, I’m going to university in the States. I’m very excited and looking forward to a bit of normality for a while. But that doesn’t mean I’m never going to go to work again or act again. Anything is possible.

Is going to university in America a way of escaping?

Emma: No, I’m just looking forward to being a teenager and meeting people my own age.

I must sound like Hermione, but for me my comfort, if I am ever really stressed, is to sit and read. Learning is something I really love. It was my dream before I did the films so I don’t see why it should change.

Emma: JK Rowling has reportedly been on the set a lot. How do you get on with her?

In the earlier years she was still writing the books and also had a young child, so she was really busy. But now she can be more involved and it’s more of a pleasure.

She has been around more, and we are quite similar in a way, so she has been nice to talk to. She’s been very caring and is genuinely a really lovely woman.It’s wonderful to have her in my life.

You hit people with newspapers in the films rather a lot. Is that a habit you have in real life?

Emma: I do it so much in the film, that’s me getting my aggression out. I’ve had my fill of hitting people with newspapers, notepads, whatever I can get my hands on. So yes, I’m done!

Emma Doesn’t Want to Be a Designer

According to www.stuff.co.nz, Emma Watson does not want to be a designer.

“I’m really not interested in doing it for my own ego. I’m not a designer. It’s gotten so ridiculous. The idea of making my own perfume makes me want to vomit. If someone asked me to do something that was beneficial to a cause, then maybe I’d consider it, but not just to be able to say ‘Look at me! I’ve got my own line!’ ”

What about fashion and modeling?

“But I really don’t want fashion to overshadow my career – that’s my worst nightmare. First and foremost, I’m an actress. Fashion’s great because you’re able to recreate yourself whenever you want. Daniel Radcliffe had time to go away and do ‘Equus’ on Broadway and break out of ‘Harry Potter’ a bit and I was always studying. So my way of getting casting directors to look at me in a slightly different way was modeling.”

So what about her fashion sense?

“I’m a real Londoner when it comes to fashion. We often have grey weather and I think it encourages a very grey and eclectic fashion sense. You mix and match stuff a lot. I mix high-street stuff with high-end fashion and vintage. My mum also has a great sense of style, so I learn a lot from her.”

Emma Hated Kissing Rupert Grint

According to Jocelyn Vena, writer for http://hollywoodcrush.mtv.com, Emma Watson did not like kissing Rupert Grint. She said that it “was the most horrible thing I’ve ever had to do … it just felt like incest. That’s the only way I can describe it.”

I am sure that this comes to a shock to billions of girls who would have loved to take her place, but I can see how she would feel like that. Emma has said many times that Rupert and Daniel were like siblings to her.

“It was fine that I was actually kissing him because I had my eyes closed so I could not think about the fact that it was him. The worst bit is when we had to open our eyes and look at each other because then I was just like, [laughter] and then we couldn’t keep going. But we did it in the end. Six takes — not bad. It could be worse.”

Now it is being reported, byDaniel Radcliffe, that Emma is going to Brown. Emma still has not confirmed or denied anything.

Emma is Excited to Be Going to a University

According to Anita Singh, Editor for www.telegraph.co.uk, Emma Watson is excited about going to a University in the United States.

“At the end of August I’m going to university in the States, which I’m very excited about. I’m looking forward to a bit of normality for a while,” Watson said.

“I don’t want to put a negative light on it, as if I’m escaping or anything like that, but I’m just looking forward to being a normal teenager for a bit and meeting people my own age. I’m going to sound really like Hermione Granger, but my comfort – my way of dealing with all of this if I’m ever really stressed – I will go and open a book and sit and read, and that will de-stress me. For me, learning has been my comfort. This is so geeky, but it’s what got me through. I love learning and I don’t really want to stop. It was always my dream before I did the films, so I didn’t see why that had to change.”

All because Emma is going to school doesn’t mean that she is going to stop all together.

“There seems to have been a lot of confusion in the media, because I’m going to university, that university and acting are mutually exclusive – that I can’t act as well as study at the same time. I seem to have managed it up to this time!”

Emma is becoming a great fashion icon.

“As I get older, I’m aware people care about what I put on my body, which is strange,” she said.
“I’ve been trying to play different characters in each of the fashion shoots I’ve done and I hope that people can look at me differently. It would be very naive of me not to be aware that it will be hard for audiences to separate us from these characters we are so identified with, so I think that has been my way of expressing myself.”

I personal can not wait to continue to see Emma grow. I hope that she has a wonderful college experience no matter what school she attends.

Emma Watson Doesn’t Diet

According to Samantha Chang, writer for www.examiner.comm Emma Watson doesn’t diet.

“It’s just not something that I aspire to, to be super-skinny,” Watson told Grazia magazine. “It’s not inspirational at all for me. I’m lucky that I’m this size naturally. I don’t diet…I love chocolate and pasta and I love baking. I make a great raspberry amaretto cake.”

“There is so much pressure on girls our age to be smart and pretty and funny and skinny – they have to be everything,” says Watson. “I definitely know what that pressure is like, but my philosophy is to eat what you like and be healthy and exercise.”

Woo hoo. Someone who tells it like it is about weight.

I was not aware of this, I knew that she likes to fish, but Emma likes sports.

“For some reason, girls seem to think it [being athletic] is unfeminine and they worry about being ‘pretty’,” says Watson. “But I feel the most pretty when I come off the pitch after a field hockey game and I’ve got pink cheeks and bright eyes. Sport really makes me feel good about myself.”

One of the things that we do not have to worry about Emma is taking drugs.

“I’d be too frightened to take drugs,” she says. “I have enough in my life without looking for something else, and I hope that will always be the case.”

Rupert and Emma Talking About Their On Screen Kiss

In a recent interview with FHM (July 2009 Issue), Rupert Grint admitted that he and Daniel have both had a crush on Emma, according to Heidi Blake, writer for www.telegraph.co.uk

“A lot of people think there’s something going on [between me and Emma Watson] because I have to kiss her on film soon. I’ll be honest with you: it’s not something I’d say I’m dreading. Emma’s a pretty girl. Have Daniel or I ever hit on Emma? Well, she’s quite popular with the cast. As for who has the worst crush on her – me or Radcliffe – I’d rather not say.”

Okay Rupert . . . Does that mean that it is you or are you trying to protect Daniel? This does not take me my surprise. Emma is a beautiful young lady. If I only had her problem.

Emma Has No Idea of What She is Worth

Emma does not know how much she is worth, according to http://sify.com.

“My dad never told me how much money I was earning. Then, when I hit 18, he was like, ‘I want you to understand that your money isn’t some kind of abstract concept. I want you to have a feel for what it’s worth and what you can do with it’,” The Telegraph quoted her as telling Elle magazine.

“The truth is I’d just like to pretend that it [the money] doesn’t exist. It’s amazing how many children are aware from such a young age about money being important or supposedly impressive. Around the age of 13 or 14, kids used to come up to me and say, ”You the girl on Harry Potter? How much do you make?””

That is a good thing to do. Pretend that you do not have it, so you do not waste it all.

Emma will be taking a break after she finished filming.

“It’s going to sound dramatic, but I feel like it’s going to be my life over as I know it. My whole life has been about Harry Potter and then all of that will shut down and I don’t know what it will be like. I go to university in September – I’ll be doing bits and bobs at Christmas, but September feels like my cut-off point, the moment when I’ll really stop.”

I wish Emma the best of luck.

“I’ve been saying that I wanted to go to university since I was eleven, so if they didn’t let me, I’d be pretty upset,” she said.

“I just want to keep it private (my university choice) for as long as I can. I probably sound like a paranoid nut, but I’m doing this because I want to be normal. I really want anonymity. I want to do it properly, like everyone else. As long as I don’t walk in, and see, like, Harry Potter posters everywhere, I’ll be fine,” Emma told Teen Vogue.

Emma also tells Teen Vogue that her and boyfriend, Jay Barrymore, are not breaking up.

“The only reason it’s ‘on/off’ is because the papers make up so much rubbish!”

“QUESTION: How tough was it to have your character start a romance onscreen with Ron, especially since he’s played by an old friend?

EMMA WATSON: I don’t know that it’s tough. Rupert’s a really laid back guy but I’m really looking forward to it because I quite like the romantic comedy side of it. Rupert and I end up providing light relief, as the films get darker. It’s funny seeing Rupert struggling in the romantic stakes. Hermione and Rupert are so different yet they have this chemistry, so it’s interesting. It’ll be awkward doing those love scenes; there’s no other way to put it, but its all part of the job.

QUESTION: How great did it feel to win a Best Actress award at the ITV Movie Awards?

EMMA WATSON: It was so lovely. I genuinely didn’t expect to win it. It wasn’t just about Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It was about all the films and I was delighted that the public had voted for that award. It’s one of my proudest moments.

QUESTION: Does working on a Harry Potter film feel different now that all three of you have done different projects?

EMMA WATSON: Yes, and it was really nice to be able to come back and talk to Dan and Rupert about the projects they had been working on; and how different it was to work on stage and TV. It’s given us all more confidence as actors because we were chosen so young for the Potter films. It was so important to me to do Ballet Shoes. I learnt so much from that experience.

QUESTION: So what have been the big ‘wow!’ moments over the years?

EMMA WATSON: The first was when we were told we had got the parts and we stayed in a fancy hotel for the press conference. I remember sitting on a massive bed jumping around watching myself on the TV evening news. It was mad. We also did a premiere at the Radio City Music Hall in New York and I remember looking up at all the people and saying wow!

QUESTION: What about the perks and getting stuff from people from companies like Chanel?

EMMA WATSON: It’s amazing getting sent their dresses because I’ve always loved their clothing. They are the best. If anyone was going to dress me for a premiere, it was going to be Chanel. I physically don’t have time to go out any buy clothes for events so they lend me clothes and it works really well. I also consider it a perk that I get to travel and get to work with the people I’ve worked with. What other job would have given me all these opportunities?

QUESTION: Do you keep a diary?

EMMA WATSON: I do have early diaries filled with funny little things I said or thought. I also have memory boxes filled with things from the early films, including bits of the chess set. I have funny bits and pieces that they let us keep.

QUESTION: What’s in your dressing room here at the studio?

EMMA WATSON: Rupert has darts, pool, table tennis and all these games consoles. Dan’s room is full of books and music. I was so bored one summer that I painted a big mural in my dressing room. Otherwise, it’s all very girly with candles and soft furnishings.”

I’ll never leave my biggest passion.

So you don’t stop acting …

No! If all is working well, I’ll act next autumn, an independent film called Napoleon and Betsy realised by Benjamin Ross. I’ll play the Betsy Balcombe role, the heroine, which originally was to have been played by Scarlett Johansson, who is a producer, too. Besty is a young noble with an enthusiastic disposition. Accidentally, she finds herself on the Britain Island of Sainte-Hélène, where the great Napoleon is exiled.

The look, is it important for you ?

On my way of dressing, I’m a real tomboy! I have it in common with Hermione. In everyday life, I wear jeans and a simple pullover. For special occasions, like the premieres or gala parties, I try to make an effort. I’m not at-ease in designer gowns, but I’ve begun to appreciate it …

What aspect of your personality would you change?
I would like to be more sexy! In each photocall, the stylists would like to see me wearing ultramini skirts, set assistants would like I take some languorous poses … I admit that I can’t be a tigress yet. But I’m working on it! [laughs]”

“BLASBERG: Do you like to travel?

WATSON: Yes, and that’s where the films have helped. With Harry Potter, I’ve been all over the world. I probably wouldn’t have gone to New York so young if it weren’t for the films. I was 11, and I remember it distinctly because it was just after 9/11. I was at ground zero, looking at this gallery that had messages and drawings all over the walls.

BLASBERG: That’s heavy stuff for an 11-year-old.

WATSON: Yeah, it was. I remember one of the producers gave this great speech while we were there, saying that maybe the reason Harry Potter was so successful, particularly then, was because people really wanted to be uplifted or taken to another place.

BLASBERG: I find it intriguing that you started this journey when you were 9. How did you even know about the books?

WATSON: My dad used to read them to me before I went to bed and while on long car journeys.

BLASBERG: So then you just went to an open call?

WATSON: No, there was no open audition—they went all over England to find these characters, and not just drama schools. They came to my school and asked if they could put forward a group of 20 children between the ages of 9 and 12. They took my photograph in the school gym, and then I got a call three weeks later.

BLASBERG: What happened between that gym photo and the first day of shooting?

WATSON: It was a long time—eight auditions . . .

BLASBERG: Did you meet any of the other girls who were going out for the parts?

WATSON: Yes! I won’t say the name, but there was this girl who had already done a film before. I can remember just crumbling at the sight of her, thinking, “She’s been in a film before, and she knows how to do this. I have no chance.” Even worse, one time I came to the studios, and she was there playing cards with one of the other boys auditioning for Harry—not Daniel
Radcliffe. And I was like, “Oh, my god, they’re making friends already! I’m definitely not going to get it.” I was so, so upset.

BLASBERG: I bet those two have pictures of you and Daniel Radcliffe on their dartboards now.

WATSON: Probably. But I wanted it so badly.

BLASBERG: Why? Because you wanted to be in movies and be famous, or because you identified with that role?

WATSON: I loved the books—I was a massive fan. I just felt like that part belonged to me. I know that sounds crazy, but from that first audition, I always knew. At the beginning, they were
casting the other characters as well—but I always knew I was going out for Hermione. She came so naturally to me. Maybe so much of myself at the time was similar to her. Of course, all this terrified my parents—there were literally thousands and thousands of girls going out for the audition, and my parents were anxious about what I would do if I didn’t get it.

BLASBERG: Now that you’ve made a little bit of money, are you spending it all on fashion?

WATSON: I don’t really buy designer stuff. I have a few nice things, but I don’t really have the occasion to wear couture too often. When I’m in a situation where I do need to dress up, I’m
typically lent something—which means I have to give it back at midnight, like Cinderella.

BLASBERG: In these next two films, are most of your scenes with Dan and Rupert?

WATSON: Yes. In the last book, they’ve left Hogwarts, and they’re traveling around together. It feels right that it started with the three of us and it’s ending with the three of us. It’s about our friendship.

BLASBERG: How are you with those young men off set? Are you friends?

WATSON: To be honest, we see so much of each other when we’re working that hanging out together would be overload. I love them, but I need to see other friends off set. They’re like my siblings now.

BLASBERG: We’ve spoken about you possibly coming to America for university. What’s so appealing about going to an Ivy League school?

WATSON: I never thought that I would want to go to America for university. As a child, I aspired to go to Oxbridge, because that’s where my parents went. When my dad talks about his time there, he says it was the most incredible experience.

BLASBERG: So what made you entertain the idea of the States?

WATSON: Well, I did a Shakespeare course at RADA [Royal Academy of Dramatic Art] last summer, and three quarters of the students were from abroad, mainly the United States. I started talking to them about what they were doing at their schools, and I respected the approach. Here, I feel the specification is very narrow, whereas in America, you’re encouraged to be broad and choose many different subjects. For someone who has missed as much school as I have, I want to go back and discover what else there is. I always loved school—I was a proper, proper nerd. I just want that back again.

BLASBERG: What are you going to study?

WATSON: History, English . . . I want to keep learning French, maybe some politics. I want to continue studying art.

BLASBERG: I think you should absolutely devote some studies to your painting. I keep looking at this big picture that you did of your stepbrother, which is hung above your couch.

WATSON: I guess I’m a little shy about my art, but I love painting people and expressions and faces. I’ve always done art, though not a lot of people know it.”

Is Emma Watson the new face of Burberry

It has been reported that Emma Watson is the new face of the Burberry ProrsumAutumn/Winter 2009 collection, according to Nidhi Sharma, writer for www.allheadlinenews.com.

According to the Daily Mail, Emma did not like the idea that she was going to be “photographed alongside a group of girls.”

I really do not blame Emma for not liking that idea.

“Emma was always supposed to be the leading lady, so when she found out it was girls she was in the campaign with, she put her foot down and had them removed from the line-up. She now stars in the campaign alongside four hunky men,” said a source.

“The campaign is not yet finalized and we won’t release any information until around the time of the official launch in June,” said a spokesperson for Burberry to People magazine,

As of yet. No comment from Emma Watson.
